Deputy Toktaş asked, "What is this disgrace? Does the Personal Data Protection Law only apply to Turkish citizens? Did you grant such a privilege to the US? Is Turkey a colony?"

Addressing the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Speaker of the Parliament, Deputy Toktaş stated, "Are there other privileges we are unaware of, or have you been captivated by the magic of the word 'friend'?" and noted that he would follow up on the matter.
Deputy Toktaş emphasized that he expects an explanation from the authorities regarding the protection of personal data.
