'Virgin Mary' video had gone viral: The woman speaks for the first time

A video showing a woman walking with a large group while wearing white modest clothing, with the caption "I am the Virgin Mary" added to it, had become a trending topic on social media. 

32-year-old Kübra Acar, who became the center of attention, spoke for the first time. 

Stating that she went on an Umrah pilgrimage last month with a company named Ayliz Organizasyon, Acar said the footage was from that visit.

"I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID SUCH A THING"

Speaking to Buse Çelebi from 10haber, Kübra Acar described what happened with the following words: 

"I don't understand this perception. You cannot treat someone in the presence of God like a sheikh. A month has passed since the video was taken; they cropped it, cut it, and wrote text over it. I mean, I can't believe it. The tour company had filmed the video; all tour companies film their groups to share on their own pages. I also got it from them, but they hadn't shared it, I shared it. I don't understand why those who made this latest video did such a thing. I will exercise my legal rights."
