Visa exemption for Australian citizens entering Turkey
Australian citizens have been granted a visa exemption for tourist travel to Turkey.
A Presidential Decree regarding the provision of visa exemption for Australian citizens holding ordinary passports for their tourist visits to Turkey has been published in the Official Gazette.
With the decision published in the Official Gazette, Australian citizens holding ordinary passports will be granted visa exemption for their tourist-purpose travels and transit passages to Turkey, with a maximum stay of 90 days within every 180-day period. The exemption was decided in accordance with Article 18 of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection No. 6458.
