Visit to 'Deputy Police Chief' by individual from Yerlikaya's 'necessary action taken' post: Arrest footage had been released
The visit made by Ferhat Aydoğan—whose arrest footage was shared by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya in July last year—to a Deputy Police Chief in Gaziantep less than a year later has sparked backlash.
Ferhat Aydoğan, who introduces himself as a press advisor to Alaaddin Çakıcı and claims to be a journalist, shared posts on his social media account regarding his visit to Gaziantep.
Birgün reporter İsmail Arı reacted to the images, in which Aydoğan stated that he visited Gaziantep Deputy Police Chief Dursun Terzi and Provincial Director of Environment and Urbanization Hakan Şimşek in their offices.
In his post, Arı quoted Aydoğan's post and expressed his reaction with the following words:
Interior Minister Yerlikaya had said that the necessary action was taken. Ferhat Aydoğan, the President of the AK Youth Hearths (AK Gençlik Ocakları) who was arrested by police pressing down on his head, has visited Gaziantep Deputy Police Chief Dursun Terzi in his office.
Is this how you took the necessary action, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya?

WHAT WAS HE ARRESTED FOR
In a post he made last July, Interior Minister Yerlikaya used the following statements regarding the reason for Ferhat Aydoğan's arrest:
"An investigation has been opened by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the individuals for Attempted Qualified Fraud, Forgery of Documents, and Influence Peddling, and they have been arrested by the court they were brought before."
