Wanted for 9 years via Red Notice: Footage of crime syndicate leader Serkan Kurtuluş's extradition released

The Argentine Federal Penitentiary Service has shared with the public the footage taken while organized crime syndicate leader Serkan Kurtuluş, who was extradited to Turkey, was being removed from prison. In the footage, it was seen that Kurtuluş was placed into a police vehicle after passing through an X-ray scan, and was then taken out of the prison in a convoy accompanied by motorcycle police and an armored vehicle.

FOOTAGE REGARDING THE EXTRADITION PROCESS RELEASED

Argentine authorities have released footage regarding the extradition of organized crime syndicate leader Serkan Kurtuluş to Turkey.

In a post shared on the Argentine Federal Penitentiary Service's social media account, the moments when Kurtuluş was processed through security checks at the prison under heavy security measures were included.

After passing through an X-ray machine, Kurtuluş was placed into a police vehicle. He was then removed from the prison in a convoy accompanied by motorcycle police and an armored vehicle.

MINISTRY OF INTERIOR HAD ANNOUNCED

In a statement made by the Ministry of Interior today, it was stated: "Under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Interpol-Europol Department, the Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), the Intelligence Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice, Serkan Kurtuluş, the leader of an organized crime syndicate who was wanted internationally via a Red Notice for the crimes of 'premeditated murder, intentional killing, establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, armed robbery by more than one person for the purpose of providing benefits to a criminal organization, and chain-threat by utilizing the intimidating power of an existing criminal organization,' has been captured in Argentina and is being extradited to our country today. We continue our fight against organized crime syndicates that disturb the peace of our citizens and attempt to darken the future of our children and youth."
