Warning from Naci Görür after 4.0 magnitude earthquake: Watch out for this fault!
Following a 4.0 magnitude earthquake in the Hani district of Diyarbakır, geologist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür issued warnings, drawing attention to the February 6 earthquakes.
Following another tremor in Muğla, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Hani district of Diyarbakır. According to data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the earthquake took place at 14:49 at a depth of 13.15 kilometers. The earthquake caused panic in the surrounding area.
WARNING FROM GEOLOGIST PROF. DR. NACİ GÖRÜR
Making an assessment on social media following the earthquake, geologist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür stated that the tremor occurred on an important fault line.
Görür emphasized that the 4.0 magnitude earthquake in the Kaledibi-Hani region is located on the Dicle-Lice Segment and is causing stress accumulation in the Bitlis-Zagros Thrust Zone.

In his post, Prof. Dr. Naci Görür reminded that the February 6 earthquakes caused significant stress accumulation in this region and warned, "One must be careful on this fault zone."
