"I would like to make a statement to correct the false news about me... When I started morning broadcasts on Ekol TV, I had to make a choice between Habertürk and Ekol because I became a full-time programmer for another channel. Therefore, shortly after reaching an agreement with Ekol, I left Habertürk by shaking hands with the TMSF management, on friendly terms, and after receiving my severance pay. About three months have passed since this development; this is a fact that can be found with a simple Google search, but the goal is not to report news, but to slander and smear!"

Sharing her "observations" regarding living conditions in container cities, Alçı had claimed that some earthquake survivors had "lost the reflex to spend money" and that a "lethargy" had emerged.
