Fast Pass System (HGS) mobile application users have reacted to receiving notifications containing abusive and irrelevant content. In a statement regarding the issue, PTT reported that they had detected unauthorized access to the application's messaging service from abroad.

Emphasizing that necessary technical and operational measures were taken as soon as the incident was noticed, PTT officials also stated that there was no data loss or compromise of user information.

The institution stated that efforts to close security vulnerabilities are ongoing and apologized to the users.

The following statements were included in the announcement made by PTT:

"In the evening hours, unauthorized access to our HGS mobile application's messaging service occurred from abroad, and it was determined that notifications unrelated to our company were sent to some users.

Upon detection of the incident, our security systems were quickly activated, and the necessary technical and operational measures were implemented.

During the aforementioned unauthorized intervention, there was no situation such as any data loss or user information falling into the hands of unauthorized persons.

Furthermore, legal proceedings have been initiated in cooperation with legal authorities."
