Water price hike in Ankara
The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality's ASKİ General Directorate has increased water tariffs by 30.2 percent, setting the new rate at 35 TL.
According to information provided by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Press Office, the ASKİ General Directorate has increased water tariffs.
With the new regulation, the "water + wastewater fee" has increased by 30.2 percent to 35 TL.
On the other hand, it was noted that citizens receiving social assistance will continue to pay 1 TL per cubic meter for up to 10 cubic meters of water, while families of martyrs and veterans, individuals with disabilities, and university students will continue to benefit from a 50 percent discount.
