We asked Korkmaz Karaca... Was he the one who convinced İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu to run for TFF President?

In the TFF Ordinary Financial and Elective General Assembly, where Mehmet Büyükekşi received 129 votes, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu was elected as the new president of the TFF with 134 votes.

Former referee Ahmet Çakar congratulated İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu on his election as TFF president and offered words of praise for Korkmaz Karaca, whom he described as the mastermind behind the move.

'YOU ARE THE SECRET MASTERMIND BEHIND THIS'

In a post on X, Çakar stated the following:

"The İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu era has begun. Best of luck. I am a firsthand witness. KORKMAZ KARACA was the one who put the idea of the presidency into Hacıosmanoğlu's head. My brother Korkmaz, you are an expert in finance and money markets, that is clear. With this result, I am certain that you are a very visionary man. You are the secret mastermind behind this. No matter what anyone says, you are a true friend. I'm glad you exist."

Following Çakar's claims, Korkmaz Karaca, who was reached by 12punto, commented on the elections. Karaca said, "Mr. İbrahim is our friend, he won it with his own merit."

Karaca also added, "May God be pleased with him, how happy for him."
