In the incident that occurred on İnönü Street in the center of Kars, a wedding hall located on the street was fired upon by individuals whose identities are not yet known.

One of the stray bullets fired from a vehicle with an unidentified license plate struck 6-year-old Muhammet Poyraz Erdağı, who was playing with his car on the sidewalk.

Citizens who witnessed the incident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. A large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

The critically injured Erdağı was taken to Harakani State Hospital by medical teams. The battery-operated car the child was playing with remained at the scene.

Erdağı could not be saved despite the interventions at the hospital.

Police teams have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspects who fled after the incident.
