'Well Operations' begin in Adana: Organized crime group dismantled
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced the details of the 'Well Operations' that began in 2 provinces, centered in Adana.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that an organized crime group led by Mustafa Altınyüzük and Ramazan Altınyüzük has been dismantled as part of the "Kuyu-1" (Well-1) operations conducted in Adana and 2 other provinces.
Yerlikaya stated the following in his post on X:
"51 suspects, members of the organized crime group, including the ringleaders, were apprehended in the operations!
As a result of the work carried out by the Adana Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's KOM Department; it was determined that the suspects, who are members of the organized crime group targeted in operations in Adana and Muğla, committed the crimes of: Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes, Threatening, Qualified Extortion, Intimidation, Extorting Money, Shooting, Attempted Intentional Homicide, and Illegal Arms Trafficking.
As a result of the operations:
5 unlicensed pistols, 17 unlicensed shotguns, and a large amount of digital material were seized."
