According to initial findings from the autopsy examination at the İzmir Council of Forensic Medicine, it was determined that Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, the Turkish activist killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, had a bullet entry wound from a firearm located below her ear.

The body of Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank territory of Palestine, had been brought from Istanbul to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Following a ceremony held there, the body was taken to the İzmir Council of Forensic Medicine for autopsy procedures.

Initial findings from Eygi's autopsy at the İzmir Council of Forensic Medicine indicated a head injury resulting from a bullet entry wound from a firearm below the ear area.

The cause of death was identified as 'skull fracture, brain hemorrhage, and brain tissue damage,' and it was determined that there was a bullet entry wound caused by a firearm in Eygi's head, with no exit wound found.

It was learned that while the millimetric metallic objects found in the head were sampled for ballistic examination, the autopsy investigation is ongoing.
