As part of a FETÖ investigation conducted for 1.5 years by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was carried out against the food company named 'Maydonoz Döner'. As a result of the investigation, 353 people, including the company owners, were detained.

OPERATION CONDUCTED IN 30 PROVINCES

The efforts, coordinated by the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Department, were carried out with the participation of the Intelligence Department and the Counter-Terrorism (TEM) Department. Additionally, MASAK and the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) supported the operations. The investigations conducted by the TEM and KOM Branch Directorates of the Provincial Police Departments were carried out in 30 provinces, centered in Antalya.

WHAT IS THE NATURE OF MAYDONOZ DÖNER'S TIES TO THE ORGANIZATION?

Examinations revealed that the 'Maydonoz Döner' chain operated via a franchise system and provided unofficial partnerships to individuals linked to FETÖ. It was determined that the company provided partnerships in exchange for payment to individuals who had been processed due to FETÖ and maintained ties to the organization. Furthermore, it was learned that the company did not allow partnerships without a reference from the organization and that they called this system 'Reference-Based Growth' (RTB).

MINISTER YERLİKAYA MADE A STATEMENT

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya provided the following information regarding the operation on his social media account:

"In the simultaneous 'KISKAÇ-40' operations targeting FETÖ in 31 provinces centered in Antalya, 353 suspects, including public personnel (10 suspects) who were determined to have provided financing to FETÖ through a döner restaurant chain, were apprehended.

Even after the death of the FETÖ ringleader, there is no room for any relaxation in our fight against this treacherous terrorist organization.

We continue our struggle with determination against those who threaten the unity and solidarity of our nation, the integrity of our state, and the peace and welfare of our citizens."
