WHICH UNIVERSITY DID AKIN GÜRLEK GRADUATE FROM?

Akın Gürlek was born in Nevşehir in 1982. Gürlek, who graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2005, is the current Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor.

He was promoted to first-class judge status with the April 2021 promotions.

Having served as a judge in various provinces and districts, Gürlek was appointed as Deputy Minister of Justice on June 2, 2022, replacing Uğurhan Kuş, who was appointed as a member of the Council of State while serving as the President of the Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court.
