WHO IS İLNUR ÇEVİK?

İlnur Çevik was born on June 27, 1952, in Ankara. He began his education in London and completed it at TED Ankara College. When he was just 16 years old, he won second prize in a TÜBİTAK competition in 1968. That same year, he took his first step into the media world at the Turkish Daily News newspaper.

He rose rapidly with his determination and stance in journalism. In 1984, he became the Editor-in-Chief of the Turkish Daily News and served in this position for many years. He became known as a respected name in both the Turkish and international media communities.

One of the most important periods in İlnur Çevik's professional life was the process between 1991 and 1993, when he served as a special advisor to Süleyman Demirel. During this period, he participated in meetings with world leaders such as US President George Bush, German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, French President Francois Mitterrand, and British Prime Minister John Major.
