Who is İnan Kıraç?

İnan Kıraç (born February 4, 1937, in Eskişehir) is a Turkish businessman and industrialist. He held senior executive positions at Koç Holding for a long time.

After graduating from Gazi Primary School in Eskişehir in 1948 and subsequently from Galatasaray High School, he studied at the City College of Business in London. For a time, he worked as an interpreter at the Kemer Dam construction site.

In 1961, under the guidance of his older brother Can Kıraç, he began working at Ormak AŞ, one of the companies under Koç Holding. In 1966, he became the General Manager of Otoyol AŞ. In the following years, he served in senior management roles at the holding's automotive companies.

In 1981, he founded the Galatasaray Education Foundation.

He was among the founders of the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV).

He was married to Suna Kıraç, the daughter of Vehbi Koç. The couple has a daughter named İpek Kıraç. In 2024, he married former Koç Holding employee Emine Alangoya.

Kıraç, who was one of the 5 partners of Turkey's Automobile Joint Venture Group (TOGG), withdrew from the project in 2021 due to health issues.
