Bilen, who was among the founders of SİMPAŞ A.Ş., also served as a member of the company's board of directors. Bilen, who was also among the founders of the Education Volunteers Association (Eğitim Gönüllüleri Derneği), took an active role in this association. In his political career, he served in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) as a Manisa MP for the 22nd, 23rd, 26th, and 27th terms.
