WHO IS MEHMET ALİ YILMAZ?

He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Istanbul Academy of Engineering and Architecture.

He served as President of Trabzonspor Club, a Member of Parliament for Trabzon in the 19th legislative term, and as State Minister responsible for sports.

He was married and a father of five children.

During his tenure as minister, he introduced autonomy to the Turkish Football Federation. He is the person who organized the pool system in football. Yılmaz also brought facilities to Trabzonspor.
