Who is TÜSİAD President Orhan Turan? Was he taken into custody?

TÜSİAD President Orhan Turan has become the subject of an investigation for the crimes of "Publicly Spreading Misleading Information" and "Attempting to Influence a Fair Trial" due to his statements at the association's general assembly on February 13. WHO IS ORHAN TURAN?

Orhan Turan was born in Istanbul in 1960 and has been serving as the President of TÜSİAD since March 29, 2022. He began his education in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University and subsequently completed his academic career by earning a Master's degree in Business Administration at Marmara University. He has also taught graduate-level courses at Sabancı University, Koç University, Marmara University, and Yıldız Technical University.
