Why did Tuba Bahar Günaydın die?

Tuba Bahar Günaydın, who worked as a guidance counselor at Sakarya Primary School in Samsun, has passed away. The death of the 34-year-old teacher has been met with great sorrow within the education community. Upon investigating the incident, police teams discovered that Tuba had been a victim of murder.

Her mother called, it was thought to be a suicide

Tuba Günaydın's mother called 112, stating that she had found her daughter lying motionless in the bathroom with her left wrist cut, and that she had been experiencing psychological problems recently. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the house. It was determined that Tuba Günaydın had died at the scene. Her body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute, as it was initially evaluated as a suicide by wrist-cutting.

The truth emerged during the autopsy, she confessed to the murder

The autopsy revealed that Tuba Günaydın had been strangled to death. Her mother, S.G., who was taken in for questioning, confessed to the murder, stating, "I was lying on the sofa on the night of the incident. My daughter was in the bathroom brushing her teeth. She called me over. When I went to her, she attacked me. I pushed her and she fell to the ground. She got up and attacked me again. This time, to save myself, I strangled her, and she fell to the ground. She was lying motionless. She was dead. I took a knife from the kitchen, cut her left wrist to make it look like a suicide, and notified the police."
