The reason behind the orange lighting on the FSM Bridge and Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge in Istanbul has become a subject of curiosity. It was learned that the illumination was carried out for the November 8th Leukemia Children's Week.
The Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge were illuminated with orange lights to draw attention to leukemia.
The Leukemia Children's Health and Education Foundation (LÖSEV) organized various events to raise awareness during the November 2-8 Leukemia Children's Week.
As part of these events, the FSM Bridge and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge were turned orange. The practice, which began in the evening hours, will continue until daybreak.
