Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has announced a timeline for resolving Istanbul's taxi problem. In a statement made to Ertuğrul Özkök in Rome, he said, "I will call all relevant parties to a meeting at the beginning of June."
İMAMOĞLU GAVE A DATE
Stating that he asked Mayor İmamoğlu about the taxi issue while in Rome for the Istanbul Games signing ceremony, Özkök relayed İmamoğlu's response:
My colleagues are working on this issue. I will likely call all relevant parties to a meeting at the beginning of June.
Everyone, including international ride-sharing companies, will attend this meeting.
