The founder of the Republic of Türkiye, the Eternal Commander-in-Chief and Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, passed away on November 10, 1938, at Dolmabahçe Palace. Atatürk, who departed from us physically 86 years ago today, will be commemorated with ceremonies across the country and in many parts of the world.
The Great Leader, who laid the foundations of our Republic, was the architect not only of a military victory but also of an ideology, freedom, and enlightenment.
As on every November 10, life in Türkiye will come to a standstill when the clocks strike 09:05 this year. Millions of citizens will observe a moment of silence for their Ata.
As the tireless guardians of our Republic, we have inherited the courage, perseverance, and determination he taught us.
We will continue to walk in Atatürk’s footsteps so that future generations may also carry these values forward.
As the 12punto family, we commemorate the founder of our Republic, the victorious commander of our War of Independence, and the symbol of our independence, the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with gratitude, longing, and respect.
Long live Atatürk!
