Woman falls from historic city walls and loses her life
A 54-year-old woman who lost her balance and fell from the historic city walls in Diyarbakır has died.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in the Mardin Kapı area of the Sur district. Kadriye Yıldız (54), who had climbed the walls for a walk, lost her balance and fell from the walls.
Upon the notification of citizens in the vicinity, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Yıldız, who received her first intervention at the scene, was taken to Dicle University Hospital by ambulance.
Yıldız, who was taken into intensive care, lost her life despite all interventions.
