Sancaktepe A collapse occurred while the foundation of a construction site was being excavated on Berat Street in Fatih Neighborhood. Y.C. (40), who was working there, was trapped under the collapse along with the sliding soil.

Fire, medical, police, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene.

Fire crews pulled the worker from under the soil and handed him over to medical teams.

The injured Y.C. lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.
