Workplace fatality in Antalya

In the Aksu district of Antalya, 22-year-old worker Ahmet Çekener lost his life after falling from the scaffolding of a construction site where he was working. An investigation into the incident has been launched.

In a workplace accident that occurred at a construction site in the Altıntaş neighborhood of Antalya's Aksu district, 22-year-old Ahmet Çekener lost his life.

The incident took place when Çekener lost his balance and fell to the ground while working on the 6th-floor scaffolding at the construction site located on 31139 Street. Other workers at the site noticed the situation and immediately notified the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Medical teams determined during their examination that the young worker had passed away at the scene.

Ahmet Çekener’s body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy following the investigations conducted at the scene.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
