World record in Ordu: Anchovy ice cream enters Guinness!

Celal Karaarslan and his team displayed 1,301 varieties of ice cream they prepared to enter the Guinness World Records on a 125-meter-long table. Guinness World Records Turkey Adjudicator and Representative Şeyda Subaşı Gemici, along with her team, inspected the ice creams, which included ingredients such as hazelnuts, fish, and other local products.

Gemici stated that Guinness World Records is the only global organization that registers and approves record attempts worldwide, and provided information about the rules that must be followed during a record attempt.

Gemici noted that the previous record was held in Abu Dhabi with 1,001 varieties of ice cream, saying, "It is with great joy that I announce a new Guinness World Records title. Celal Karaarslan and the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Kabadüz Çambaşı Ski Center have brought this record to Turkey and to Ordu with 1,301 varieties of ice cream. I congratulate them."

Celal Karaarslan, who received the record certificate, expressed his pride in achieving such a success in his birthplace. Stating that the 1,301 ice creams they prepared were accepted by the jury, Karaarslan said, "All of our ice creams were accepted in terms of both consistency and presentation. I was expecting to break the record because I was confident in it. Our 11-person team went into a camp for the last 18 days. We closed all our shops and worked day and night solely for this goal."

Kabadüz Mayor Yener Kaya said they had a very exciting day and were very happy with the result. The prepared ice creams were served to the participants after the event.
