Yağmur Yüksel had filed a criminal complaint: The prosecutor's office has made its decision

Yağmur Yüksel, an actress who stars in the series 'Kan Çiçekleri', had filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office due to insulting comments made about her on her social media account, which has 797 thousand followers.

Stating that she had initiated legal proceedings by filing a criminal complaint through her lawyer, Yağmur Yüksel included the following statements in her announcement:

"Recently, I have been witnessing with astonishment and sadness remarks and words directed at me that can be described as simple insults. I would like you to know that as I see how much hearts can darken during this process, I turn my face toward kind hearts and those who love me.

Furthermore, I respectfully inform the public that we have initiated our legal efforts before the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and our courts through my lawyer Volkan Alkılıç against all these insults; with the belief that all these actions will not go unpunished before the Turkish judiciary."

'ACCESS BLOCKED'

The prosecutor's office has made its decision regarding Yağmur Yüksel's criminal complaint.

Yüksel's lawyer, Volkan Alkılıç, announced that the legal battle resulted in their favor with the following sentences:

"As a result of our application regarding the extremely inappropriate and insulting posts on social media directed at my client Yağmur Yüksel, it has been decided to remove the relevant social media content and block access to this content.

I inform you that our prosecution process continues so that those who make these insulting posts do not go unpunished and for the sake of goodness prevailing; and that our legal struggle against such posts and individuals will continue in the coming period"
