Yarkadaş: 'Akşener will visit Kılıçdaroğlu before İmamoğlu'

Speaking on tv100, Yarkadaş stated that former İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener could visit former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu before Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

İMAMOĞLU SPOKE ABOUT THE VISIT

Ekrem İmamoğlu made a statement after excessive commentary was made regarding the meeting plan, which had stirred political circles.

Regarding the content of his planned visit to Kılıçdaroğlu, İmamoğlu said:

I mean, I have only one desire: it was an attempt to gather in a very sincere environment over a meal to show that the relationship between our former Chairman and me is continuing in a sincere manner, far from misunderstandings.

I don't know if we will be available this week. I mean, if I am, I will call anyway. It could be next week. It could be the week after. I mean, this is not a meeting between two heads of state. It is a friendly chat between a former Chairman who served together and the Mayor of Istanbul…
