'Yellow serum' tragedy continues! Serum provided by pharmacy worker leads to death!

In Adana, a woman who felt unwell and received a serum consisting of painkillers and vitamins—commonly known among the public as "Yellow Serum" or "Atom"—administered by a pharmacy assistant, fell ill and lost her life.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on January 17 at approximately 19:30 in the Anadolu neighborhood of the Yüreğir district. 

YOUNG MOTHER OF 2 LOSES HER LIFE

Allegedly, 22-year-old Selinay Fidancan (Yüksekbaş), a mother of two who was married under religious law and resided in a house on 880th Street in the Anadolu neighborhood, fell ill on January 17. 

Following this, a pharmacy assistant working at a local pharmacy came to the house and administered a serum consisting of painkillers and vitamins, known among the public as "Yellow Serum" or "Atom." The young woman fell ill shortly after receiving the serum. 

The young woman was taken to Yüreğir State Hospital by ambulance after her husband, Seyfican Yüksekbaş, notified emergency services. Her heart, which had stopped at the hospital, was restarted, but she passed away on January 18. 

Following this, the police took the statement of her husband. In his statement, Seyfican Yüksekbaş said that when she felt unwell, the pharmacy assistant came to the house and administered the serum. 

PHARMACY ASSISTANT RELEASED

It was learned that the pharmacy assistant, Murat M., was taken to the police station, and after his statement was taken, he was released. 

The young woman who lost her life has been laid to rest. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
