YENİ Party added to official TBMM website
The YENİ Party, founded following the decision by Özgür Özel to split, has been added to the parliamentary list and has officially become the main opposition.
The YENİ Party, founded by Özgür Özel along with deputies who resigned from the CHP, has been added to the official website of the TBMM.
On the TBMM website, it was observed that the YENİ Party has secured the status of main opposition by taking second place in the seat distribution.
YENİ PARTY ON THE OFFICIAL TBMM WEBSITE
Following the failure of appeals against the "absolute nullity" ruling by the Ankara Regional Court of Justice and the refusal of the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu administration to hold an extraordinary convention, 91 deputies, including Özgür Özel, resigned from the CHP and founded the YENİ Party.
The party, which was established at the Anadolu Club, was added to the official TBMM website with 91 deputies.
With this step, the YENİ Party, for which Özgür Özel was unanimously elected Chairman, has officially become the main opposition party.

CHP IN 5TH PLACE IN SEAT DISTRIBUTION
On the other hand, following the resignations for Özgür Özel's YENİ Party, the number of CHP deputies dropped from 135 to 44.
Thus, Kılıçdaroğlu's CHP, which lost its status as the main opposition party for the first time since the 2002 General Elections, fell behind the DEM Party and the MHP in Parliament, settling into 5th place.
