"On the 4th day of the Ramadan Feast holiday (Tuesday), 647 traffic accidents occurred. Unfortunately, 7 of our citizens lost their lives, and 1,165 of our citizens were injured. Holidays are the most beautiful times to be together with our loved ones. Please obey traffic rules so as not to turn these beautiful moments into pain. Roads exist to bring us together, not to separate us. Unfortunately, 34 of our citizens lost their lives in the first 4 days of the holiday (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday). 4,784 of our citizens were injured. Our Police and Gendarmerie Traffic Teams are continuing their inspections during the 9-day Ramadan Feast holiday. On the 4th day of the holiday, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, our traffic teams inspected 495,753 vehicles. Speed and radar procedures were applied to 21,178 vehicles, and other procedures were applied to 51,120 vehicles. Our inspections are not for the sake of taking action, but to prevent accidents and reduce our loss of life to zero. I wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to our injured."
