Price hike for YHT tickets! Here is the new tariff...
High-Speed Train ticket prices have increased significantly following an overnight hike. Notable rises in fares are observed on many intercity lines.
A price hike has been applied to High-Speed Train (YHT) tickets, which are frequently preferred for intercity travel in Turkey. The prices updated by TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ have come into effect as of today. With the new regulation, ticket fares have increased by 19.23 percent.
The ticket price for the YHT operating between Ankara and Istanbul has been raised from 780 TL to 930 TL. Another main line affected by the hike is the routes departing from Eskişehir. Accordingly, those wishing to travel on the Eskişehir-Sakarya route will now pay 565 TL. The Eskişehir-Ankara line has been updated to 480 TL.
On the other hand, while the ticket price between Eskişehir and Istanbul has risen to 600 TL, the new fare for the Eskişehir-Konya route has been set at 665 TL. For YHT passengers wishing to travel from Eskişehir to Sivas, the ticket price has reached 1500 TL.
