YÖK launches investigation into incidents at Yeditepe University graduation ceremony
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has announced that an investigation has been launched into the incidents that occurred during the Faculty of Law graduation ceremony at Yeditepe University.
In a statement made by YÖK, it was stated: "An investigation has been launched by the Council of Higher Education regarding the incidents that took place during the Yeditepe University Faculty of Law Graduation Ceremony and were reflected in the public domain.
Universities are exceptional institutions where different views and beliefs freely coexist.
It is absolutely out of the question to tolerate any damage to the rights of our youth to belief, expression, and education, which are under constitutional protection."
