Young girl out with her family for the holiday falls into dam
A young girl who came to the Samsat district from Adıyaman with her family for the holiday lost her life after falling into the Atatürk Dam reservoir.
A young child who fell into a dam reservoir in Adıyaman has died.
According to the information obtained, 8-year-old İrem Su İnan, who had come to the Samsat district from Adıyaman with her family for the Eid al-Adha holiday, fell into the water while standing by the edge of the Atatürk Dam reservoir.
When citizens were unable to find the young girl despite their searches in the reservoir, they reported the situation to 112. 
Health teams and divers from the Adıyaman Provincial Police Department were dispatched to the scene.
The lifeless body of the young girl, found as a result of the searches, was taken to the Samsat State Hospital morgue.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
