In the traditional village charity event in Muratlar village, located in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale, young men and women looking for their fortune gathered on Lovers' Street.
There was high participation from surrounding provinces, districts, and villages in the charity event, which was attended by 2,000 people.
During the charity meal, young men and women walked back and forth on the 1-kilometer-long Lovers' Street located within the village, searching for their potential partners.
Lovers' Street was the scene of colorful moments.
Stating that the charity event has been held in Muratlar village for approximately 80 years, 18-year-old Pınar Savran said, "It is said that the tradition of the love street in our village has been continuing for 80 years. Perhaps it is even older. I am from Muratlar village. I came to the village charity event and took a walk on the love street myself."
At the village charity event, 120 cauldrons of keşkek were served to the citizens who settled in the recreation area.
