Young woman harassed by delivery worker in elevator: 'I'm with you, you're very beautiful'

A 24-year-old woman was harassed by a delivery worker in an elevator. The woman, who was rescued with the help of neighbors, filed a complaint against the attacker. The police are in pursuit of the suspect.

According to a report by Büşra Seyis from Ekol TV, the incident, which took place at a luxury residential complex in Esenyurt, Istanbul, shocked those who saw and heard about it.

The young woman was harassed by a worker who entered the complex under the pretext of a package delivery. The harassment began in the elevator, which was equipped with security cameras, and continued until she reached her apartment.

The young woman described what she experienced with the following words:

“I was going up to my apartment with my dog in my arms. When I got into the elevator, the man pressed the button for the minus-three floor, but we reached the seventh floor first.

As I was getting off, I turned around with my dog, and that was when I was harassed.

Then he followed me to my door, said 'I'm with you,' and said, 'You're very beautiful.' He tried to push the door. I immediately called security out of fear, but he had managed to escape.”

Following the incident, the woman went to the police and filed a complaint against the attacker.

While security camera footage is being examined, the police have launched an investigation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
