In Çorum, a piece of simit got stuck in the throat of Ayşegül İ. while she was having breakfast with her colleagues at her workplace on İnönü Street in the Çepni neighborhood.

Struggling to breathe, the young woman's colleagues called the 112 Emergency Call Center to request assistance.

Upon the report, medical teams were dispatched to the specified address.

After receiving initial intervention at the workplace, Ayşegül İ. was taken to the Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital, where she was admitted to intensive care due to her life-threatening condition.
