Young woman's body found on plateau

A woman's body was found on Soğucak Plateau, located in the Sapanca district of Sakarya.

Those who saw a woman lying motionless near a hut at the entrance of the plateau reported the situation to the gendarmerie. Upon the notification, 112 Emergency Service and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

Examinations by health officials determined that the woman had lost her life.

The teams identified the body as belonging to B.K. (27), who lived in the Serdivan district.

SHE WAS ON THE PLATEAU THE PREVIOUS DAY

The body, which showed no signs of firearms or sharp objects in initial examinations, was taken to the Sapanca State Hospital morgue and subsequently to the Sakarya Training and Research Hospital Korucuk Pre-Autopsy Center for further processing.

The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the death of the woman, who reportedly arrived at the plateau yesterday evening.
