Taylan Özgüç Danyıldız, known on social media as 'Testo Taylan', was detained and arrested two months ago due to a video he published. An investigation had been launched against Danyıldız on charges of 'Inciting the Public to Hatred and Hostility' and 'Crimes Against Public Morals and Insult' due to the content of the video.
Having spent 60 days in prison, Danyıldız appeared before a judge for the first time today. Following the hearing, the court ordered Danyıldız's release.
