YRP's harsh response to Öcalan: 'There is no need to take the TBMM to the feet of the terrorist organization leader!'

Yeniden Refah Party Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç made assessments regarding the new solution process debates during a press conference he held in Edirne.

'THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE THE TBMM TO THE FEET OF THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION LEADER!'

In his statement regarding the "process" commission planned to be established in the TBMM, Kılıç used the following expressions:

"They were visiting him on İmralı Island. State officials were also meeting with him. If he has a message to give, he can convey this message to the commission in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey through intermediaries. He has already done so. In fact, as Mr. Bahçeli put it, the process was initiated and continued primarily with the support given by the terrorist leader. There is no need to take the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to İmralı, to the feet of the terrorist organization leader."

"MILLIONS ARE BELOW THE HUNGER THRESHOLD"

Touching upon economic difficulties, Kılıç expressed the livelihood challenges faced particularly by workers and retirees:

"The time for change for the government has come. Millions are below the hunger threshold, those with salaries are below the poverty line; are our retirees supposed to support their households with a monthly income of 16 thousand-odd liras? Are they supposed to pay their rent? Are they supposed to cover kitchen expenses and bills? It is a desperate situation. Are our brothers and sisters who have to make ends meet with a minimum wage of 22 thousand 104 liras supposed to pay rent? Should they spend it on transportation, cover kitchen expenses, or put it in their child's lunchbox? What should they do? Should they get dressed, eat, or pay bills? 22 thousand 104 liras is not enough to cover everything."
