Zafer Party announces acting chairman

Party Secretary General Cezmi Polat announced in a press statement the name who will serve as acting chairman of the Zafer Party until Ümit Özdağ is released from prison.

Polat spoke as follows:

In accordance with the authority granted to me by the party charter, at the meeting we held with the 15 members of the presidential council currently in Ankara, Mr. Mehmet Ali Şehirlioğlu has become the acting chairman of our party until our chairman Ümit Özdağ returns to us.

While Musa Ertugan has been appointed as Deputy Chairman, Hüseyin Bartu Soral will continue to be the face of our party on television.
