Zafer Party GİK member denied entry to Greece: Security threat
Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ announced that Prof. Dr. Sevil Sargın, a member of the Zafer Party General Administrative Board (GİK), was denied entry into Greece.
Ümit Özdağ stated that Greek authorities informed Sargın that she would be subject to a 3-year entry ban on the grounds that she poses a security threat and a threat to public order.

In a post on his social media account, Özdağ used the following expressions:
"Zafer Party General Administrative Board member Prof. Dr. Sevil Sargın was stopped by Greek authorities today while traveling to Greece with her family and was turned back at the border, with the notification that a 3-year entry ban would be imposed on her on the grounds that she poses a security threat and a threat to public order.
The reason for this entry ban is that Ms. Sargın visited Western Thrace with a Zafer Party delegation some time ago and stood up for the rights of the Western Thrace Turks.
As long as Athens continues its anti-Turkish policies and its policies that oppress the Western Thrace Turks, the Zafer Party will continue its criticisms and will resolutely defend the rights of the Western Thrace Turks."
