Zehra Güneş has become a UNICEF Turkey Goodwill Ambassador. The successful player of the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team announced this meaningful collaboration on the International Day of the Girl Child.

Sharing this meaningful collaboration with her followers on October 11, International Day of the Girl Child, Zehra Güneş stated in a joint announcement with UNICEF Turkey: “Strong girls mean strong todays and strong tomorrows. Every contribution made to their development is also a contribution to the development, improvement, and peace of societies. Today is the International Day of the Girl Child! On this important day, I am happy to announce that I will be working together with UNICEF for the rights of all girls in our country and around the world!”

UNICEF Turkey's Goodwill Ambassadors include actors Türkan Şoray, Tuba Büyüküstün, and Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, author Ayşe Kulin, theater artist Müjdat Gezen, and basketball player Cedi Osman.
