Yeni Şafak columnist İsmail Kılıçarslan criticized director Zeki Demirkubuz for not speaking out regarding the Palestine-Israel war, and Demirkubuz's response was swift.
"WE SHOULD BOYCOTT"
Kılıçarslan stated, "We should boycott Zeki Demirkubuz's new film by not going to see it, as he hasn't uttered a single sentence about Gaza. Wait for the pirated version to come out, don't let Zeki Demirkubuz take your money. Watch it pirated. I'll send you a link."
Demirkubuz's response to Kılıçarslan was harsh.

Demirkubuz used the following expressions: "I will f*ck anyone who dares to question what I feel regarding the oppression inflicted upon the people of Gaza. I will also f*ck your film, your box office, your piracy, your boycott, and your threats."
