2024 travel data released: The most expensive bus ticket has been identified

According to travel data for 2024, the most expensive bus journey was announced as the Van-Muğla route.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and a popular ticketing platform shared data on travel conducted in Turkey in 2024. While the average bus ticket price in 2024 was 560 liras, the most expensive ticket was sold for 2 thousand 700 liras between Van and Muğla. The date with the highest number of bus tickets purchased was Sunday, April 14, 2024, which coincided with the last day of the Ramadan Feast.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE TICKET WAS SOLD FOR 1537 LIRAS

The most expensive domestic flight ticket was 1 thousand 537 liras, while international flight tickets rose to 5 thousand 227 liras. The busiest day for flight tickets was recorded as Saturday, June 15, 2024, which was the eve of the Eid al-Adha and the day after schools closed.

DECEMBER 31 WAS THE BUSIEST DAY

The busiest date of the year for hotel reservations was December 31, 2024, due to New Year's Eve celebrations. The most expensive hotel reservation took place in Antalya on August 5, 2024. A total of 502 thousand 907 TL was paid for a 12-day reservation at a 5-star hotel.
