35 percent price hike for rakı!
Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association (TBYD), announced that a 35 percent price increase has been applied to Mey Group alcohol products. With the new prices, a 100cl bottle of rakı has risen to 1,000 TL.
News of price hikes continues to arrive in the new year. Following cigarettes, rakı prices have also been increased.
Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association, stated that the rate of the price hike for the Mey alcohol group is 35 percent.
Consequently, the price of a 35cl bottle of rakı has risen to 429 lira, a 70cl bottle to 769 lira, and a 100cl bottle to 1,000 lira.
