40 percent raise from İş Bankası
Türkiye İş Bankası has implemented a 40 percent raise in staff salaries as part of a new collective bargaining agreement, while also increasing daily meal allowances to 600 TL.
Türkiye İş Bankası has reached an agreement on a collective bargaining contract covering the years 2026-2027 following negotiations conducted with the Bank, Finance and Insurance Workers' Union (BASİSEN). With the agreement, a decision was made to implement a 40 percent raise for January 2026 salaries, and significant improvements were also made to the employees' social benefits.
Following the 21 percent raise applied to salaries last July, a 40 percent increase has been implemented in bank personnel salaries for the new period. Bank employees have thus achieved a significant step toward protecting their purchasing power against economic conditions.
The agreement was not limited to salary increases; updates were also made to the additional benefits provided to employees. Accordingly, while increases were also provided for periodic bonuses such as those for childbirth and holidays, the daily meal allowance determined by the bank was raised to 600 liras.
