5 billion dollar trade target set with Qatar
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated that with the entry into force of the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) signed with Qatar, the goal is for bilateral trade to reach 5 billion dollars in the medium term.
Bolat shared a post on his social media account regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Qatar.
Stating that the commitment to strengthening the partnership between Turkey and Qatar was demonstrated within the scope of the visit made to Qatar by President Erdoğan for the second time this year, Bolat said, "Within the framework of the EXPO 2023 Fair held in Doha, our President visited the Turkish pavilion hosted by our Ministry of Trade. Within the scope of the meeting held with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim, it is aimed that bilateral trade will reach 5 billion dollars in the medium term with the entry into force of TEPA."
